For us as Francophones it is important to stay informed on the latest developments which affect our countries, and to what measure these developments influence our countries of residence abroad."

Beyond Bombs © 1999 is a 30-minute program that features the voice of Thich Nhat Hanh, the Vietnamese Buddhist monk who led the peace delegation at the Paris Peace Talks ending the war in Vietnam.

Through his inspiration, three guests will explore "new" possibilities the world as a whole and people individually may adopt to respond to ancient tribal hatreds exploding around the world as we enter the Third Millennium. A Jewish scholar from Graduate Theological University in Berkeley, a French philosopher who teaches at Stanford University, who is Catholic, and a second Buddhist monk, who will bridge the video of Thich Nhat Hanh, will be asked, "Is there another way?"
